ABOUT THE PROJECT
A publication design exploring the intersection of editorial layout and tattoo culture. Every spread balances expressive hand-drawn illustration with structured typography. The tattoo art isn't decoration, it's the content. Each piece was illustrated original, drawn to live on the page as intentionally as it would on skin.
THE APPROACH
The layout system was built around the illustrations first. Type was set to frame and amplify the artwork and never compete with it. Bold hierarchy and high-contrast compositions keep the reader moving, while the raw energy of the hand-drawn work gives each spread its own weight and presence.
